I thought it would be good to update everyone on the kids. The twins have started to sleep through the night. Yah!! Usually they wake up once or twice just because they want their pacifiers. They generally go to bed around 7 or 8 and get up at 7. It’s awesome! I wish we would have realized that putting them to bed early was a good thing a month or two ago. We used to try to keep them up until like 9 because we thought they would sleep better and longer. Well, that’s not the case with these two. More sleep=more sleep. Lovely.

Smiley boy

B has started falling asleep on the floor of wherever we are. It makes things really easy when we’re out visiting people. She also will just fall asleep within 5 minutes when I lay her in her crib for naps, whereas A can sometimes cry and whine for a bit. It’s amazing how different these babies can be for twins. And to prove this point before I started this post I put the twins down for a nap. By the end of it, B was already sleeping and A was trying to roll over. Haha.

Isn't she sweet?

Look at those two teeth!

Our biggest challenge lately is that we started potty training with E. I wish we could have gotten this done before the twins arrived but I don’t think she was ready. I have figured out a little secret to get her to sit on the potty. Books. If I tell her we’ll read books while she’s sitting on the potty she’ll sit there for like an hour. The only problem with this is that she’ll sit for about 30 minutes on the potty and she won’t go. Then she’ll get up and go into the living room or wherever and pee. LOL. We’ll get there I know! She’s a smart little girl.

Potty and book time for this little girl!

E and I like to “yell” back and forth at each other a lot. She finds it funny so I play along. This morning B was doing a little happy screaming and E joined in and I couldn’t help but do a little myself and then A just started crying. Really it was so cute. I could tell that he was so disturbed by all the noise. I just picked him up and held him as the other two continued their craziness. It’s amazing how different these kids can be.

And just because I can’t not have any pictures:

We had a great time on Halloween. We went and visited with friends and family and the kids were great! We didn’t do any trick or treating and we really didn’t need to. We still came home with a bag full of candy.

The twins turned five months old yesterday. What!? When did that happen? I really can’t believe it. Since they’ve gotten older B is not as fussy at night, which makes Mama happy!

We really are enjoying this time of our lives. With B squealing constantly (I’m afraid she’s going to disturb some people in church tomorrow. LOL) and A just being his normal, smiley self, and E being tons of fun and ever getting into trouble as always, we love our lives.

We’ve been stuffing these babies full of rice cereal and bananas and I think it’s been helping them sleep better at night. Last night B got up once and she only drank 2 oz so I know she could sleep through the night. And, well, A, he’s been a little bugger. He doesn’t want to sleep. He would rather stay up and hang out with parents. Not that I can blame him, we are pretty awesome! I’m hoping that with his belly more full of food he’ll sleep better.

I actually got E to pose for me last night. Normally, she won’t do that… ever. So, that was great!

E loves food! We’ve been teaching her to say “please” and it almost always comes out like “play”. So cute! Here she is eating a sucker she got from Grandma for Halloween. It’s pure sugar so I’m glad she only ate the top half.

I tried cutting E‘s bangs about a month ago and seeing as how she doesn’t like to sit still this is what happened:

And just being her usual silly self:

B already has two bottom teeth in and one coming in on the top. I can’t believe it! When did she get so big? I’ve been trying to get a picture of them but have had no success. I’ll keep trying though!

This next picture is from after her bath this morning. She was in such a good mood. She loves her baths!

One of her favorite things to do is chew on her hands. I suppose that has to do with those toofers coming in.

B loves hanging out with her Dad. Usually he rocks her and five minutes later she’ll be sleeping.

Up next: Everything About E.

The twins had their first taste of rice cereal this morning. They did pretty good. A seemed like he wanted it in a bottle so he could drink it. He’s always a hungry boy! And B made faces when I gave it to her. She’s so funny.

Eating and not to sure about it:

And just because she’s the cutest E I know (she’s waiting for Grandma to pick her up for church):

I cannot believe the twins are four months old already. Wow!

They have gotten so big. They have their four month old check-up at the clinic on Friday and I can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown. They are so sweet!

A lot has happened to us in the last few months. We moved from Bemidji to Hibbing and Aaron got a new job. And of course we had twins four months ago!

We went for a walk to Frank Hibbing Park yesterday because I thought it would be a good day to get some Fall pictures and we really needed to get out of the house. Well, E has been getting sick and I didn’t realize it until yesterday. She did not want to go to the park.

Thank God the park is only 2 blocks away from our house.

A Tree and Frank:

A rolled over! I thought that B would beat him at this because she is so strong and he’s so weak but he was determined to roll over.

In other news, today was the first day it really felt like Fall. E and I celebrated by staying in our pj’s all day, drinking coffee (not E), and reading books. It was a good day.
