Hey ya’ll, if anyone is still checking “Life with Twins,” I won’t be posting here anymore. I have a new blog with my hubby, Reinman. Come check us out!

The twins were 8 months old yesterday. Eight months old! Wow. Can you believe it? This year sure is flying by.

So, big sister has taken it upon herself to do whatever the twins are doing, whether it be crying, rolling over on the floor or chewing on toys. I’ve told her many times that she’s a big girl, not a baby, but you know how well two-year-olds listen. In this next picture I was getting B dressed for the day and E saw me take off all her sister’s clothes. So, E had to take off all her clothes too and also put on a diaper instead of her big girl panties. 🙂

B sat up on her own for the first time the other night. I can’t believe it! She’s getting so big. Soon she’ll be crawling!!

Up next: Sitting pretty

Last week we got out E‘s Adrian Peterson jersey that she used to wear last year. I figured that with A being so big, he could probably fit into it. Well, as soon as E saw it, she had to wear it. And she’s been wearing it everyday since….

B is so close to crawling it’s scary! I can’t believe how big she’s gotten. Pretty soon she’ll be cruisin’ around the floor. Watch out then!

And because we couldn’t leave A out:

Up next: Twin time!

I thought it would be good to update everyone on the kids. The twins have started to sleep through the night. Yah!! Usually they wake up once or twice just because they want their pacifiers. They generally go to bed around 7 or 8 and get up at 7. It’s awesome! I wish we would have realized that putting them to bed early was a good thing a month or two ago. We used to try to keep them up until like 9 because we thought they would sleep better and longer. Well, that’s not the case with these two. More sleep=more sleep. Lovely.

Smiley boy

B has started falling asleep on the floor of wherever we are. It makes things really easy when we’re out visiting people. She also will just fall asleep within 5 minutes when I lay her in her crib for naps, whereas A can sometimes cry and whine for a bit. It’s amazing how different these babies can be for twins. And to prove this point before I started this post I put the twins down for a nap. By the end of it, B was already sleeping and A was trying to roll over. Haha.

Isn't she sweet?

Look at those two teeth!

Our biggest challenge lately is that we started potty training with E. I wish we could have gotten this done before the twins arrived but I don’t think she was ready. I have figured out a little secret to get her to sit on the potty. Books. If I tell her we’ll read books while she’s sitting on the potty she’ll sit there for like an hour. The only problem with this is that she’ll sit for about 30 minutes on the potty and she won’t go. Then she’ll get up and go into the living room or wherever and pee. LOL. We’ll get there I know! She’s a smart little girl.

Potty and book time for this little girl!

E and I like to “yell” back and forth at each other a lot. She finds it funny so I play along. This morning B was doing a little happy screaming and E joined in and I couldn’t help but do a little myself and then A just started crying. Really it was so cute. I could tell that he was so disturbed by all the noise. I just picked him up and held him as the other two continued their craziness. It’s amazing how different these kids can be.

And just because I can’t not have any pictures:

We had a great time on Halloween. We went and visited with friends and family and the kids were great! We didn’t do any trick or treating and we really didn’t need to. We still came home with a bag full of candy.

I actually got E to pose for me last night. Normally, she won’t do that… ever. So, that was great!

E loves food! We’ve been teaching her to say “please” and it almost always comes out like “play”. So cute! Here she is eating a sucker she got from Grandma for Halloween. It’s pure sugar so I’m glad she only ate the top half.

I tried cutting E‘s bangs about a month ago and seeing as how she doesn’t like to sit still this is what happened:

And just being her usual silly self:

I cannot believe the twins are four months old already. Wow!

They have gotten so big. They have their four month old check-up at the clinic on Friday and I can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown. They are so sweet!

A lot has happened to us in the last few months. We moved from Bemidji to Hibbing and Aaron got a new job. And of course we had twins four months ago!

We went for a walk to Frank Hibbing Park yesterday because I thought it would be a good day to get some Fall pictures and we really needed to get out of the house. Well, E has been getting sick and I didn’t realize it until yesterday. She did not want to go to the park.

Thank God the park is only 2 blocks away from our house.
